Inspiration
A component of the Code Advisory Group is to use the symbology of a feather, a feather belonging to the Red Tail Hawk. A powerful bird of prey sacred to many Native Americans. The ability to acclimate and adapt to various climates across North America, while employing a keen eyesight is among the numerous traits this creature exhibits. Because of these traits hawk feathers have often been used by Native Americans in traditional regalia to protect and empower warriors.
